Motorized boating season ends at Timnath Reservoir

Motorized boats run on Timnath Reservoir from April 1 to October 1, Thursdays to Sundays only, 7 am to 8:30 pm or reservoir close, whichever comes first, plus Mondays that are national holidays. A Town permit is required. October 1 is a Thursday, so it is the last day of the season, and the last full Thursday-to-Sunday window is September 24 to 27. The reservoir itself stays open through the winter for paddling, fishing and the shore, 7 am to 7 pm or dusk from the Tuesday after Labor Day until March 31.
