Poudre River Trail
The 45-mile paved trail from Bellvue to Greeley runs through Timnath along the Cache la Poudre; the last gap, a bridge south of town, closed in 2026.
The Poudre River Trail follows the Cache la Poudre for 45 continuous paved miles from Bellvue above Fort Collins to Greeley, and it runs through Timnath along the Cache la Poudre. Larimer County and the Town finished the final gap in June 2026: about a mile of ten-foot concrete and an 83-foot bridge over the Greeley No. 2 Canal south of town, connecting Timnath to Windsor. Get on at Weitzel Park, or at Arapaho Bend on the Fort Collins side of I-25.
